Good Luck / Bad Luck Pitchers

When betting on sports, many believe it is like casino gambling in that it is based on chance. However we are here to tell you baseball sports betting enthusiasts that if any sport was ever based on luck it would be baseball. For instance, a few years back the Chicago Cubs are a win away from the World Series and conveniently a fan interferes with the play, not only costing the Cubs the game but a trip the finals for the first time since 1945. Today however we look at the affect luck has on pitchers.

Firstly, a good luck pitcher would be a starting pitcher who has given up four or more runs in an outing and continues to pick up wins. An example of this would be a Cincinnati Reds pitcher as their games tend to be high scoring affairs. Secondly a bad luck pitcher would be a starter who pitches a gem, however gives up a single run and it results in them picking up a loss.

How to bet on good and bad luck pitchers?

One common belief amongst baseball bettors is that in a 162 game schedule, results for pitchers will even out. Meaning to say that pitcher, who gets off winning after giving up four runs, will have his day where he is due for a loss. Conversely the same can be said about the bad luck pitcher who finally gets a win.

1. When betting on the luck of a pitcher you take three games, and track the pitcher in each of the starts.

2. For the good luck pitcher you would bet against him in each of the next three starts, or until you win your bet. Once you win, you switch to a new good luck pitcher to bet against.

For the bad luck pitcher you bet for him to pick up the win for up to three games or until you win.
