Since being opened at the start of the 2009 regular season, MLB betting handicappers have seen some of the most memorable moments in the history of baseball at the new Yankee Stadium. For instance, last year baseball betting fans, were able to witness the Yankees go from a team on a huge championship drought, to winning the World Series outright. Conversely, this year Yankee fans were able to witness Alex Rodriguez hit home run 600 at the beginning of August, live in front of the home audience.

New Yankee Stadium is located directly across the street from the old Yankee Stadium. Over the 85-year tenure at the old Yankee Stadium, fans and bettors alike were able to watch and gamble on 26 of the Yankees 27 World Series titles. Old Yankee Stadium was the house that Ruth, DiMaggio and Gehrig built. As a result many players after them were unable to live up to the standards those three set.

Nevertheless, in new Yankee Stadium, it is modern era stars such as Jeter, Rodriguez and Sabathia, who are setting new standards for future stars of the Yankees. After winning the World Series at home in Yankee Stadium in the inaugural year of the new stadium, many wonder how they will follow up in year two. So far this year, the Yankees are a top the American League East division and own one of the best home records in baseball. Yet many fans and critics alike now believe that anything short of a new Yankee dynasty will be seen as a flop in the new stadium.

As we noted above, the new Yankee Stadium is being defined as the house that Jeter, Rodriguez and staff ace Sabathia built. Sabathia alone has benefited significantly from the new Yankee Stadium, as he has yet to lose this season at home. What’s more, his last home loss was in the beginning of July of the 2009 season.
